Hudson Dwellers is dedicated to the Hudson Valley. We care deeply about the Hudson River and the lands that surround it. We believe it is critically important to take care of this great area of New York. Let's not not forsake this sacred duty to Preserve , Protect, and Restore the lands in which we dwell.

 

As such, we have adopted a company policy, that gives back 5% of each sale to organizations that preserve and protect the Hudson River and the surrounding forests and environments. This includes the local animal and insect species.

We are a new company, so this will be an evolving policy that may be updated as the brand grows and learns more. At this point we are donating 2.5% to River Keeper and 2.5% to Scenic Hudson. We believe both of these organizations have a proven track record of standing up for the Hudson Valley.

 

For example: a $20 dollar T-Shirt will result in $1 being given.

*Please note this policy has been amended 2/5/2023. Before it was a 10% of profit. Now its 5% of each sale. This results in a very similar portion being donated, but is much simpler to calculate. The profit on each item varies and sales and discounts affect this. This was resulting in a complex calculation process that was too difficult and time consuming to maintain.  As such we now simply donate 5% of the sale. Since most items operate on a roughly 50% profit margin , the amount donated stays roughly the same.
